Arabian Nights book

The Arabian Nights is a storybook composed of the classic story of "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp" and other stories with famous characters like King Shahryar, Ali Baba, and Sinbad the Sailor. This book contains a alternate reality apart from the default world Sonic and others live in known as the World of the Arabian Nights.

Story

In Sonic and the Secret Rings, one of the book's characters named Erazor Djinn, became rouge and began setting and absorbing the Arabian Nights' inscriptions. His intention is to not only take over the world of the Arabian Nights, but also invade Sonic's world. The result of Erazor's actions causes the world of the Arabian Nights to begin disappearing and its pages within the storybooks to be empty.

Witnessing the threat Erazor posed to the Arabian Nights, the Genie of the Ring name Shahra knew she must find the foretold hero who can save her world. It was not long before she found the "Legendary Blue Hedgehog" who slumbered after reading the book and manifested herself before him in the real world. After she explaining the dire situation of the Arabian Nights caused by Erazor Djinn, Sonic agreed to venture inside the book with Shahra to save it.

Through many ordeals throughout the storybooks' chapters, Sonic defeated Erazor. With the use of the evil genie's own Magic Lamp, Sonic made Erazor grant his wish of restoring the stories to its original state. As a genie, Erazor fulfilled this by releasing all the stolen inscriptions from his body and returned them. Thus, the Arabian Nights and its world finally returned to peace. The story about "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp" within the book was changed to "Sonic and the Secret Rings" due to recognizing Sonic's role and participation in its stories.
